CULEBRON ROBLE VINTAGE 1998.

It is  30th August and the air is still smooth 21.7 C degrees after the rains, no wind and the night is for the "lovers".
Americans and Frenchmen are preparing a joint venture in Syria.
I have been writing and commenting in Facebook my opinions of privacy and freedom of expression.
First time I really feel and  realize  the common factor with wine, gastronomy  and  the social atmosphere.
Countries without a historical  connection with oenology are often  responding with bellicose acts.
Spanish people are mostly friendly and peaceful, and their countryside is full of wine making history and traditions. This red wine from Culebron, Bodegas de Robert Brotons , Roble,Vintage  1998 made from  Monastrell grapes is dedicated for peace and individual's basic rights.
I enjoyed the wine with French Emmental cheese.

SNOWDEN'S CHALIZE

I "designed" this drink to celebrate Hong Kong's decision to let the thinking world's conscience to find a peaceful place for his future.
For this drink I used   ingredients, which in their names carry secret information or a  code idea .
SNOWDEN'S  CHALIZE  ingredients:
German Jagdstolz kräuterlikör (Jagd=hunting)       20ml
Chinese Ha Kai Chiew (dragon spirit                    10ml
Chinese strong and cooled black tea                     10ml
3 drops Angostura bitter
Stir and serve cool.

ONE NAPANTERI MORE

I have tried to find the origin of the word "napanteri", which is still used in Finland if you ordering or drinking beverages straight in small portions. Normally this expression has been used when consuming Finnish vodka Koskenkorva or blended cognac Jaloviina. In Spain similar words are  "tapon" or "chupito", in English grog or shot.

FONDILLON, OENOLOGICAL TREASURE FROM ALICANTE.

Fondillon name was used of old traditional wines made in Alicante province. The wine is made from Monastrell grapes and it is  matured in oak casks ".Fondillon de Culebron has a sweet taste and it's aroma is simply different compared with other wines.

LAPP "RIESKA" AND GERMAN"SPECULATIUS"

Aroma Aurora Borealis' category flat breads and wrappers.
The Lapp thin bread "Rieska" is a typical ethnic bread type. It has only 3 ingredients: barley flour,water and salt. No preservatives,additives or colorants. To make an immemorial  Aroma Aurora Borealis snack, you need "Gravad Lax" slices, churned butter, fresh dill and "Rieska". Serve the filled  bread with Belgium Gauloise Brune  dark beer.

The German Spekulatius chocolate biscuit has been chosen by Chef Thor to represent sweet snacks with no additives. It contains: wheat flour,dark sugar,vegetable fat,cane sugar,cacao,sugar,soy flour,invert sugar,sodium bicarbonate,cacao butter, cinnamon,nutmeg and salt. It is delicious with Spanish Fino CB.

ANIS TENIS FROM MONFORTE DE CID

Limiñana y Botella Sl's  anise liqueur has been chosen to our Cellar's spirit  list of strong clear spiced spirits. When mixed with four (4) parts of water,you can have a misty and refreshing aperitif.It's pure anise taste with 48 % alcohol competes well with the other world famous similar spirits.

FINO CB FROM ALVEAR

Alvear's sherry type wine, FINO CB is  from Pedro Ximenez grapes matured FINO  from Montilla -Moriles district  . Just excellent and " poly-faced", with some arctic cloudberry taste in the background . Solera and criadera method gives it a pleasant  sophisticated taste, which a gourmand can enjoy with e.g Italian Zucotto Strave cheese.

LIQUORICE FROM FINLAND

I will add also liquorice in the real bread category.It's ingredients fits perfectly with my no additives and no preservatives Aroma Aurora Borealis trend.My way to enjoy it with a small cup of  sweet Bourbon Whiskey straight and few bits LIDL'S Sweet Corner Classic liquorice apart , with few words: heavenly!

sugar syrup,wheat flour, glucose and fructose syrup, liquorice extract,brown sugar molasses,vegetable coal,anise oil.
No E-codes and no harmful chemicals.

THE REAL BREAD CATEGORIES

Bread is one important part of gastronomy, and it's history is almost as long as the Homo sapiens'.Friggas Wine Cellar has decided to list the different types of  breads of the world.We will use 4 categories: I/ Soft breads. II/ Flat breads and wrappers. III/ Hard breads. IV/Crackers and rusks.
In the Real Bread Category is accepted products only with natural ingredients.
All breads are automatically excluded if they contain chemical additives, preservatives,colorants etc. FLOUR
WATER AND SALT are the basics to make bread and to raise the bread YEAST or BAKING POWDER.Baking powders are accepted only if there is a historical a traditional reason.
The first 3 qualified products are: Soft bread category/ Finnish Malax Limpan,( Maalahden limppu) from Maalahti Finland.
Flat bread category/ Pan Lavash(Lavash in Georgia) from Marbella, Spain and Hard bread category Mjälloms
tunnbröd from,Ullånger, Sweden.
